The 173BK Benchmade Mini SOCP (Special Operations Combatives Program) Dagger, designed by Greg Thompson, features single piece 440C stainless steel construction with an all over non reflective black coating, and a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The Mini SOCP Dagger has a 2.22 inch double edge blade area, .175 inch thick; a skeletonized handle area with Greg Thompson SOCP logo embellishment, notched finger grooves for secure grip, and a notched finger loop for deployment. A MOLLE compatible injection molded plastic sheath is included. The Benchmade Mini SOCP Dagger has an overall length of 6.25 inches. Made in the USA.

From the Benchmade website: Taking the best features of it’s full-sized counterpart, we have teamed up with Greg Thompson to optimize some of the most popular elements of the SOCP® platform for concealed carry with the 173BK Mini SOCP®. Based off feedback from Special Operations personnel, we have updated the design of the sheath clip, to allow for better retention on MOLLE® webbing, pocket seams, and waistbands. The overall length of the knife allows for easier concealment while maintaining it’s effectiveness in a self-defense situation.
